Since her retirement from show-jumping, Emma has worked on radio, as a commentator for both Sky Sports and Eurosport and contributor to Touchbase – a lifestyle magazine where she writes about all equestrian disciplines. She also works tirelessly on behalf of a number of charities including Soldiering On Through Life whom she is an Executive Trustee, as an ambassador for Heart UK and as a charity ambassador and member of the President’s Club of the Riding for the Disabled Association. For her services to charity in Malta, which included teaching equestrianism there, Emma was recently honoured with a Knighthood.
Her sporting endeavours have not ended either: in October this year Emma climbed Mount Kilimanjaro to raise funds for children suffering from brain tumours. In fact she is up for almost any sporting challenge.
As a businesswoman committed to make her sport safer and to encourage greater participation in it, Emma is launching REVO – her own range of scientifically developed protective clothing for children soon and will be developing ranges for other sports where accidents are common such as cycling and skating. She will soon be launching EJ Events – which will offer VIP access to high profile events and experiences together with a luxury concierge service.
